Hi, I'm Bill, It's Nice to Meet You!

About Me
My wife Kristen and I have been married for 37 years, have two adult daughters and are long time residents of the Treasure Valley. We've called Garden City home since 2018.
In addition to serving on the Garden City Council for the past four years, I currently serve on the Strategic Growth Committee at the YMCA and volunteer at the Morrison Center. I have coached and refereed in local youth soccer programs for over 10 years.
When I've got some extra time, I enjoy hunting & fishing, tennis, biking, and serving in my church. A fun fact about me is that I'm fluent in Spanish, having lived in Latin America for 9 years.
About my Leadership
I'm a businessman with 40 years of experience owning, managing, and developing businesses. In my last role, I was the General Manager at FarWest Landscape and Garden Center where I helped the company transition to an employee ownership model prior to my recent retirement.
I earned my BA in Marketing from Seattle Pacific University and my MBA from California State Fullerton.
My business leadership experience includes positions as a Global Logistics Manager at HP, where I headed up global project teams, as a Vice President of Client Services at MarkMonitor, and as the owner of Alloway Lighting in Boise for many years.
I've been a member of the Garden City Council since 2021.
